Toddler sleep training

“My toddler refuses to sleep in his own bed, and I’m getting kicked in the face every night. I’m exhausted, it’s taking over the house, and I’ve already read all the blogs. Help!”

Elementary school challenges

“My daughter’s friends are all getting phones, but I’m not ready for that. The constant asking and obsessing is creating tension in our house. I don’t know how to break this cycle.”

Preschool morning chaos

“Our mornings feel like a battlefield. Getting everyone ready for school is a daily struggle. I need strategies to make mornings smoother and get out the door with less stress.”

Middle school emotional support

“My daughter’s friend has switched friend groups, and is not spending time with her anymore. How do I support her through this? I want to be there for her. How can I help?”

Making parent connections

“How can I make friends at my kids’ new school? I’m worried my kids won’t make friends if I’m not friendly with the parents.”

Frequently asked questions

How is parent coaching structured? Is it personalized?

Our parent coaching is tailored to your unique family situation. You'll work with your own dedicated coach who takes the time to really get to know you and your family dynamics. We encourage co-parents to join these sessions. Everything we do is one-on-one. No impersonal group sessions here.

What are the qualifications of the parent coaches?

Our coaching team brings extensive professional experience to help parents shift from simply managing behaviors to creating lasting, values-driven family dynamics. Our coaches have backgrounds that include certified parent coaching credentials, formal education in child development, and specialized training in attachment theory and emotional regulation.

What truly sets our coaches apart is their ability to translate evidence-based approaches into practical, everyday strategies that work in real homes. They combine professional expertise with personal understanding, offering guidance that's both compassionate and effective. Our coaches are skilled at helping parents establish respectful relationships where every family member can thrive.

What age ranges/developmental stages does the coaching cover?

Poppins supports families with children from cradle to college, including:

  • Baby & Toddler Years: Sleep training, managing tantrums, developmental milestones
  • Preschool Years: Potty training, separation anxiety, establishing routines
  • Elementary School: Homework strategies, friendship dynamics, building independence
  • Middle School: Navigating independence, handling peer pressure, healthy friendships
  • High School: College preparation, dating discussions, managing academic pressure

We also address core parenting challenges like co-parenting strategies, household management, discipline approaches, and setting meaningful family goals.

What specific parenting challenges can the coaching help with?

Life throws a lot at parents. Our coaches can help with everything from daily routines and behavioral issues to communication breakdowns and major transitions. We're also closely integrated with the medical team, so if we notice something that might benefit from medical support, we can make that connection seamlessly for you. We're about addressing the whole picture of your family's wellbeing.

How accessible is the coaching?

We’ve designed our coaching to fit into your actual life—not the other way around. We start with a video chat to build that personal connection, and then shift to mostly text support. Parents are busy, so we meet you where you are, providing on-the-go support that works with your schedule, not against it.

Take charge of parenthood. Poppins parent coaches are here to help.
