Frequently asked questions

What is Poppins?

Poppins is a comprehensive, text-based family support service that puts pediatric care and parent coaching under one roof to reduce household stress for busy parents. We provide 24/7 medical care with clinicians from top hospitals such as Duke, Boston Children's, Seattle Children's, CHOP, and NYU. You can use your medical team when you want instant help within less than 15 minutes. Our medical team can diagnose, treat, and prescribe if necessary. We also support families with nutrition guidance, sleep support, school notes, and help with school paperwork like ADHD evaluations.

Our personalized parent coaching covers everything from toddler tantrums and bedtime routines to teen independence, school situations, and co-parenting coordination. You shouldn't have to figure out if your child's sleep issue is medical or behavioral, or bounce between the pediatrician and a behavioral specialist while googling at 2 AM. Many parenting challenges have both medical and behavioral components—so we put it all under one roof.

Start where you need help most—medical support, parent coaching, or both.

What credentials does the medical team have?

Our medical team consists of highly qualified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners with diverse educational backgrounds and certifications, with advisory support from Dr. Mona Amin, a practicing pediatrician and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2015.

The team has trained at prestigious institutions including Duke University, Pace University, Villanova, Northeastern University, Franklin University, Seton Hall University, and University of Massachusetts.

Collectively, our providers bring over 130 years of pediatric healthcare experience from renowned hospitals and medical centers including:

What conditions can the medical team help with?

At Poppins, we've developed clear, evidence-based protocols for each condition we treat virtually.
